The sheets make the bed
Before designing our sheets, we had to rethink everything we thought we knew. We learned that a higher thread count doesn’t mean higher quality, you can’t cut corners when it comes to cotton, and the right weave makes a world of difference. Our result? Sheets that are the perfect balance of soft, crisp, and airy.
Softness that lasts
Grown in California’s Central Valley, our premium extra-long staple Supima® cotton is one of the finest and longest fibers in the world. It won’t pill or wear thin — it will only get softer with every wash.
What is extra-long staple cotton?
In the cotton industry, staple is just another word for fiber. Extra-long staple cotton is made up of long continuous fibers (with very few exposed ends). Regular cotton is made up of many shorter fibers strung together (with lots of exposed ends). Because it’s so smooth, extra-long-staple cotton can be used to make threads that are four times stronger and softer than the average cotton thread.
Exposed ends on regular cotton make it weaker
Continuous fibers on extra-long-staple cotton make it stronger
A weave that breathes
We chose a lightweight percale weave because it’s proven to last longer and breathe better than any other. It features a classic one-over-one pattern that will give you cool, crisp comfort for nights on end.
What makes percale better?
Percale
Percale is a classic one-yarn-over, one-yarn-under weave. This method produces a structurally sound fabric that will last longer and allow more air to pass through it.
Sateen
Sateen is a one-yarn-under, three-yarns-over weave. This method exposes more of each thread, giving it a shiny finish. The catch? It also traps air and makes the fabric more susceptible to snags.
Threads that count
Instead of obsessing over the number of threads, we focused on finding the right thread count for our specific cotton and weave choices. A high thread count sounds fancy, but more threads can actually make sheets heavier and less breathable. We landed on 400 two-ply threads — a modest number that makes a big difference.

Soft & Cool
Never thought I’d spend this much on sheets but glad I did. Love how the fitted sheet hugs the mattress. These sheets are super soft & crazy cool, no kidding! The duvet cover is an excellent addition too. I’m thinking about ditching all my other sheet sets and ordering a back up!

Amazing Sheets
These sheets are fantastic, especially for the price! They stay cool all night and are super soft & comfortable. I LOVE the flap in the pillow case to keep your pillow in.... it's the little things! I only have one set currently but am about to order a second one!

Best sheets I’ve tried
I have a thing about sheets—I have been looking for “fine hotel-quality” sheets for a long time. Tried various brands, but never quite got the right feel. The Casper sheets are perfect for us, and I purchased two full sets. Love them!

Frequently asked questions
- What is Supima® or Pima® Cotton?
The Casper sheets are woven out of Pima cotton, which is one of the longest cotton fibers in the world. It’s 35% longer and 45% stronger than regular cottons, which means the fiber is even softer and more lustrous wash after wash. Additionally, you can trace it directly to the source. Supima® is a trademarked name for textiles woven from 100% American Pima® cotton, which is only grown in Texas and California. The Pima® cotton used in Casper sheets comes from a farm in California’s Central Valley.
- Where are the sheets made?
Casper’s 100% Supima® cotton (grown on a farm in California) is sent to an advanced weaving and finishing facility in India.
- Will Casper sheets only fit on a Casper mattress?
You don’t need a Casper mattress to use Casper’s sheet set, but of course we recommend it! Our fitted sheet will fit any mattress up to 14 inches deep.
